In the Salon Frankfurt, silent witnesses to human history are brought to life – this new series presents in a new light a range of pioneering, surreal and distinctive everyday objects from the collections of the Historisches Museum Frankfurt (Historical Museum) and gives the exhibits their own voice and music. In this way, everyday objects are used to illuminate an exciting chapter in Frankfurt’s urban and cultural history.
