Proprietary events of the Alte Oper Frankfurt
For all events which have been accordingly marked, school students, students up to the age of 27, those doing federal volunteer service or national service, the unemployed, pensioners and holders of a Frankfurt Pass or Kulturpass Frankfurt will receive remaining tickets – insofar as there is a sufficient quantity left – at a uniform price of € 15 from one hour before the performance begins and upon the presentation of the appropriate ID.
PRO ARTE Frankfurter Konzertdirektion
For events by PRO ARTE, school students and students up to the age of 27, those federal volunteer service or national service, the unemployed and holders of a Frankfurt Pass will receive remaining tickets for € 20 upon the presentation of the appropriate ID.
For all Monday night symphony concerts and chamber concerts presented by Frankfurter Museums-Gesellschaft, unsold tickets in price categories 3 to 6 are available for late purchase at the Alte Oper box office starting one hour prior to the scheduled beginning of performance, by young people up to the age of 27 for € 9, for concertgoers from age 65 onwards for € 18, and for holders of the Frankfurt culture pass for € 3 per ticket (Verbilligte Abendkasse – VA –, or Reduced box office). Frankfurter Museums-Gesellschaft reserves the right to exempt certain concerts from sale, or limit the number of tickets for sale, at the Reduced box office.
Discounts on advance ticket sales
For events by the Alte Oper Frankfurt, Frankfurter Bachkonzerte e.V., Frankfurter Museums-Gesellschaft and Hessischer Rundfunk (excluding "Junge Konzerte" ("Young Concerts"), info available via: hr ticket centre, tel. +49 (0)69-1552000), the severely disabled receive tickets at half-price upon the presentation of the appropriate ID (from 80 %) at the advance booking offices of Frankfurt Ticket RheinMain, as do school students, students and trainees up to the age of 27. Exceptions are marked accordingly. The discount is personal and non-transferable. The corresponding ID (proof of entitlement) must be presented together with the admission ticket upon admission. If the ID presented does not contain a photograph, a photo ID (e.g. identity card, driving licence) must also be presented. Otherwise, the visitor must expect to be refused admission to the event without being entitled to a refund of the ticket price.
The ticket price includes the journey to and from the venue within the entire travelling (tariff) zone of the RMV. Valid from five hours before the performance begins until the end of RMV operating hours. Use of 1st class only available with a surcharge.
The respective organiser has the right to decide upon the granting of discounts.
Promotions for schools
For certain proprietary performances, the Alte Oper Frankfurt reserves special batches of discounted tickets (always € 10 per school student) for school classes and school groups.
For holders of the Kulturpass, the Alte Oper Frankfurt reserves batches of tickets for selected concerts. Additional information can be found at www.kulturpass.net.
