Theory and practice, word and tone, learning and sensing: Kirschnereit’s Cosmos of the Piano offers an insight into musical worlds in the company of a pianist who not only possesses a great gift for performing, but is also a talented speaker. Matthias Kirschnereit is on a mission to make classical works more accessible – both through his own playing and with accompanying explanations and reflections. The pianist will be inviting the public to his Cosmos of the Piano in the Clara Schumann Foyer on two occasions this coming season, to introduce works which will then be performed in concerts by Evgeny Kissin and Daniil Trifonov.
Attendance at the event is exclusively for those attending the subsequent concert. Admission is free of charge, admission is by presenting the ticket for the evening concert.
