We are starting the season off with a bang! The 2022/23 season will once more launch with an opulent festival that invites you to discover and re-discover music. For 11 days, the programme will again be dedicated to the maxim of “Fratopia” – the title of the festival launched for the first time last season. “Fratopia” means a space for experimentation and innovative formats, so as to create novel music-listening experiences in the concert hall. And a space for strong links to the city, for its creative potential, and for engagement with the things that an urban concert venue such as the Alte Oper must and can do in the 21st century in order to connect with the people that live here.
