A series of discussions in the Alte Oper Frankfurt in cooperation with the Max Planck Institute for Empirical Aesthetics

Science can be this exciting: The Max Planck Institute for Empirical Aesthetics (MPI) is attempting to break down why music speaks to people and how personal taste develops. This field of research is thus intensively dedicated to different forms of concerts, in particular contemporary experience of classical concerts. During the 2017/18 season, the Alte Oper will also provide a forum for the discussion about the effect of music on people. Following up different concert programmes, the MPI will present their current research on four separate occasions.
