Greatest possible sensitisation
Daniil Trifonov has remained remarkably calm. And yet, to some he is seen as one greatest pianistic talents of our time, even at just 26 years old. As a matter of fact, he has everything it takes: extraordinary technique - which with him is an absolute given, but is definitely not a matter of course -, artistic autonomy and a distinctive personality. Concentrating on just a few composers and carefully expanding his repertoire are among the basic principles of his limited yet highly multifaceted work. Therefore, during three concerts with Trifonov, the Alte Oper Frankfurt places a young exceptional artist centre stage, for whom focus is the complete opposite to a narrow vision.
