Artists are proud to include a performance at the Alte Oper in their biographies. Four outstanding young talents will once again have the opportunity to perform here for the first time in the 2025/26 season. And after their debut, they will return to school – at least for a short visit!

With its DEBÜT concert series, the Alte Oper aims to provide a forum for young artists who have recently caused a sensation at major competitions and are at the beginning of an international career. On four Sundays, the top young musicians will introduce themselves to the audience. The young musicians will then talk about their career paths so far, what it means to become a professional musician, and how it feels to win an important competition when they visit Frankfurt schools the following day. They will be happy to answer questions from the pupils about their everyday working lives, their careers, their greatest successes to date and the challenges that await them in the world of music. School classes can register for a visit by one of the musicians to their school and also attend their concert at the Alte Oper at a reduced price.
