The season will end with an orchestral festival that will also feature a significant keyboard element. The programme is a far cry from the usual classical repertoire. Both of Johannes Brahms' powerful piano concertos, which are pillars of the Romantic repertoire, will be performed. But who has the stamina to achieve this? Only Yuja Wang, the Chinese pianist who performs more than one piano concerto per evening. But that's not all: she will also conduct the Mahler Chamber Orchestra from the piano stool, guaranteeing an attentive and intense performance.

After the Brahms double bill, concert guests are invited to enjoy a complimentary drink at the Restaurant Opéra and its terrace, which will be open especially for them at the Alte Oper.
