MY FAVORITE WORKS

On the fourth and final day of the festival, the audience joins the musicians of the Knights ensemble on an exclusive tour of the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Film clips offer an insight into how the musicians explore their favourite paintings in the museum, and the film also features Max Hollein at his workplace. The Knights will perform live on the Großer Saal podium to accompany projections of images from the Met Collection, creating a dialogue between visual art and music. The programme features works from the past 50 years performed by various chamber music ensembles. Each piece is unique and exerts its own magnetic pull.
