The southern sun warms this lunchtime concert. The sound of the guitar resonates with the temperament of Spain and South America. During this midday musical interlude, followed by a light snack, Laura Lootens will take the audience on an auditory journey to the realms where her instrument feels most at home. The guitarist has recently established herself as one of the most remarkable artists of her generation. She has won numerous awards and is renowned for her brilliant technique and emotional depth. She is now making her debut at the Alte Oper, a setting she particularly likes for its intimacy and personal touch, which allows her to create the tension she loves between audience and stage.
The concert will last approximately 30 minutes, followed by refreshments in the foyer on levels 2 and 3, which are included in the ticket price.
