We like to send our jazz resident artists back to school! ‘@school’ is the name of the education programme that brings our jazz stars together with Frankfurt school ensembles. Jakob Manz, resident artist in the 2025/26 season, didn't go back to school that long ago - the saxophonist was born in 2001. But now Jakob Manz is working as a mentor: he will develop and rehearse a programme with young Frankfurt ensembles and big bands, for example from the Frankfurt Music School or other schools. The final concert, organised together with the pupils, will then take place on a large stage - in the Mozart Hall of the Alte Oper.
