Performers
Singing saws, flaming bows and musical feats of virtuosity performed with mind-boggling perfection: the night is certainly not going to be a quiet one when Salut Salon invite you to their Christmas concert.
For over 20 years now, the quartet from Hamburg has been captivating an ever-growing fan base around the globe, including classical music enthusiasts as well as people who would not normally set foot in a concert hall. Virtuosity, wit and poetry – with this unique blend, the four musicians conjure up a whole sackful of musical treasures on stage in their Christmas programme too: Christmas tunes from every corner of the world meet sounds ranging from classical music to chanson and film scores, whilst the four musicians drape works from Bach to Dvořák to Piazzolla beneath the richly decorated tree – all lovingly packaged and presented with sparkling, indeed sacred, joy. Hallelujah – what a treat!
