Programme
When the International Schumann Chamber Music Prize was awarded for the fourth time in 2022, the final round took place in a museum chamber concert. At this final concert not only the three jury prizes were awarded, but also special prizes and an audience prize. Trio Delyria, who won the audience prize, were our guests last season. And now we are proud to present the Trio Orelon, who were awarded by the Robert Schumann Society Frankfurt for the best interpretation of a romantic piano trio.
A great Romantic work, Antonín Dvořák's Trio in F minor, one of the Bohemian master's most important works, forms the centrepiece of the evening. But you can look forward to the other two works on the programme just as much: Joseph Haydn's lively A major Trio and Maurice Ravel's extremely virtuoso Trio, which is as sensual as it is powerful in sound.
