The Harlem Gospel Singers are embarking on a major tour of Germany and Switzerland with their anniversary show ‘Sing Hallelujah’! 35 years of rousing live entertainment, powerful vocalists and an energy that grips the entire auditorium. The set list includes ‘Higher and Higher’, ‘This Little Light of Mine’ and the brand-new ‘Let the Sunshine In’, as well as other songs guaranteed to elicit standing ovations. Singing together, celebrating and recharging your batteries – that’s what The Harlem Gospel Singers are all about, backed by an excellent live band and nine outstanding American artists.
The Harlem Gospel Singers embody this very connection: stemming from the spirituals of the 18th century, gospel has shaped blues, soul, R&B, jazz, rock and hip-hop – and has, in turn, drawn fresh inspiration from them.
More than 2.5 million people have enjoyed the shows of the world’s leading gospel ensemble to date. On their anniversary tour, ‘Sing Hallelujah’, they bring to the stage not only much-loved classics but also new songs such as ‘My Sweet Lord’ and the anniversary highlight ‘Hallelujah You’re Worthy’ by Judith Christie McAllister.
