Born in Yokohama, Sachiko Furuhata celebrated her debut in November 2017 at Carnegie Hall New York to standing ovations. This was followed by performances in various major concert halls such as the San Francisco Herbst Theatre, Edinburgh's Usher Hall, the Gewandhaus Leipzig, the Berlin Philharmonie and the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg. As a soloist, she has performed with various orchestras such as the Russian State Philharmonic, the German Radio Philharmonic and others. She is one of the most popular and sought-after pianists in Europe.
