Ten years after his death, Katja Riemann, together with violinist Franziska Hölscher and pianist Marianna Shirinyan, is commemorating the great author, presenter, chronicler and intellectual of the cultural scene, bringing his language and spirit to life once again. At the heart of this musical and literary tribute are Camille Saint-Saëns' sparkling animal fantasies, which Roger Willemsen captured with mocking poetry and original rhymes – a turbulent, humorous panorama of humanised beings. Katja Riemann takes on many roles and also plays the recorder and glockenspiel. In the second part, the text 'Das müde Glück' (Tired Happiness), combined with music ranging from Mozart to Fazıl Say, opens up another touching dimension. Willemsen's modern Job story becomes a meditation on vulnerability, hope, and the healing power of words and music.
