The premiere in the '@school format': For the first time, we are not just bringing together a single jazz artist, but an entire combo, alongside Frankfurt school ensembles and big bands. The driving force behind the upcoming project is the 'Jazzrausch Bigband', one of the most exciting groups on the current jazz scene with a keen interest in house and techno music. Four of the band's musicians will collaborate with the student ensembles to develop a programme that responds to the talents and capabilities of the young jazz musicians and explores what makes an ensemble sound. At the end of the project, the young jazz ensembles and their coaches will present the results of this creative process in a concert in the Mozart Saal.
