But now the moment has come: the Rome-based pianist finds the deep, serious tone for Brahms that can also be so energetic, and charming with its Hungarian accent so beloved by Brahms – as in the finale of the Piano Concerto No. 2, which was premiered by the composer himself in Budapest.
