In the 2026/27 season, the Glenn Miller Orchestra will embark on another major European tour with its new programme, “Swing Forever”!
Conducted by Uli Plettendorff, the orchestra will perform a rousing programme dedicated entirely to swing music. From Italy and Malta to Poland, the Baltic States, Bulgaria, Switzerland and the Czech Republic, the swing spirit is set to spread far and wide.
With timeless favourites such as “Chattanooga Choo Choo”, “Tuxedo Junction” and, of course, “In the Mood”, the orchestra will deliver an authentic big band sound, creating an atmosphere that will have you tapping your feet, swaying along or even dancing. "At every concert, I encourage our audience: anyone who feels like it can get up and dance," says bandleader Uli Plettendorff.
