FRATOPIA means completely transforming and rethinking the concert experience! To celebrate this unique situation, we are holding over 200 events that challenge the conventions of presenting music in the concert hall. Best of all, it's free for our audience!
From Wednesday to Sunday, the Alte Oper will be open to anyone who wants to enjoy new listening experiences. During individual sessions, some of which will take place simultaneously and others one after the other, we will build on the close proximity between musicians and audience members, as well as on musical boundary-crossing and innovative concert settings.
Just drop by spontaneously or with a fixed plan, for a single event or a whole day, with friends or alone. Admission to all events is free – as long as there is capacity in our halls, you are welcome to find your own seat.
