The legend lives on – with the original musicians from Dire Straits. On 24 October 2026, Dire Straits Legacy will be performing at the Alte Oper Frankfurt. Featuring Alan Clark (keyboards), Phil Palmer (guitar), Danny Cummings (percussion) and Mel Collins (saxophone), the line-up brings together musicians who helped shape the unmistakable sound of Dire Straits on albums such as *Love Over Gold*, *Brothers in Arms*, *On Every Street*, *Alchemy* and *On the Night*. Together with singer and guitarist Marco Caviglia, they bring global hits such as “Sultans of Swing”, “Money for Nothing”, “Brothers in Arms” and “Romeo and Juliet” to life with a quality and authenticity that only those who helped shape this music themselves can convey. An evening of concert music brimming with rock history, emotion and spine-tingling moments – and every ticket sold also supports a good cause.
