All guitarists Jan Pascal and Alexander Kilian need to touch hearts, enchant audiences and get them out of their seats is two chairs, two guitars and two microphones. They transcend all boundaries and unleash a wide range of emotions. Café del Mundo has a unique sound. From the very first note, their finely tuned guitars exude a southern joie de vivre that celebrates life and moves the soul simultaneously – this is the sound of the guitar today!
As artists, the two are polar opposites: Alexander Kilian is a highly virtuoso, extroverted and award-winning guitar prodigy who is known to dance across the rows of chairs. Jan Pascal is a poet who finds depth and meaning in life's melodies. A Café del Mundo concert is an experience: an encounter and a tribute to the great love of life; to connection; and to pure joy in the moment. We call it 'guitartainment'.
Their new tour, 'GuitaRevolution Symphonic', is not only dedicated to their album 'Symphonic'. Together with the Neue Philharmonie Frankfurt, who have previously collaborated with renowned artists such as Deep Purple, Peter Gabriel, David Garrett and Robbie Williams, the duo will present their unique blend of classic rock and pop hits, traditional pieces and original compositions.
