Maren Kroymann and Annette Frier are coming to the Alte Oper Frankfurt with their latest literary programme, “Freundinnen müsste man sein!”. These two multi-award-winning artists, who have long been synonymous with humour, sharp observation and a powerful stage presence, will captivate the audience with a reading exploring famous female friendships in literature and history.
“We should be friends!” Funny van Dannen knew this already and wrote a song about this legitimate envy! Literature, too, is full of great female friendships – wild, clever, gentle and sharp-tongued friends who are bound together through the tragedies and comedies of life. Based on a concept by Eva Schuderer, Annette Frier and Maren Kroymann roll out the red carpet for the most beautiful female friendships in world literature.
