Behind the scenes

From the 2026/27 season onwards, we present a series of English-language formats that open up space for conversation and encounters around the concert experience. At the heart of the programme are the new Behind-the-Scenes formats. Four times per season, audiences are invited to meet before selected concerts for conversations with international guests, who share inspiring perspectives from their fields. Jazz pianist Sebastian Scobel and fellow musicians set the tone, creating an open atmosphere for exchange. The Albert Mangelsdorff Foyer becomes a meeting place before the concert, during the interval and afterwards.
