The witty 'introductions' are free to attend, but you will need a separate ticket, which you can order in advance.

Music seminar for inquisitive peopleSeminar hour at the Alte Oper! When musicologist Dr Ulrike Kienzle invites you to the Albert Mangelsdorff Foyer four times a season, before each concert in the Orchestra Premium series, scores are opened, themes are compared, musical examples are listened to and in-depth knowledge of works and their genesis is imparted.
Series of talks on world music
How are the world's musical cultures reflected in a city as colourful and diverse as Frankfurt? The series of talks on world music, organised by the Office for Multicultural Affairs (AmkA) in conjunction with the 'Music of the World' concerts at the Alte Oper, deals with cultural identities and homelands, the unifying power of music and the view of what is unique and characteristic. The four discussion evenings with panellists and musical samples will take place at AmkA's stadtRAUMfrankfurt and are free of charge.
