General terms and conditions
The events featured in the monthly programme will generally already be available for advance sales. In the event of any exceptions, the programme will indicate the planned start date for advance sales.
Online reservations, i.e. ordering tickets by e-mail, can generally be made up to 1 day before the performance (the reservation deadline for weekend concerts is 12 noon on Friday). Reservations made 8 or less days before the concert require guests to give their credit card details and/or pay at the box office. We accept ticket reservations by post that are postmarked up to 2 weeks before the performance. Tickets ordered by post or telephone have to be paid within 10 days of receipt of the reservation and we reserve the right to resell the tickets if this condition is not met.
Final prices include a handling fee, service charge, booking fee and ticket for the Rhein-Main-Verkehrsverbund (RMV) public transport authority (valid on all RMV routes for a return journey to Alte Oper Frankfurt). Any exceptions will be indicated. Prices for Alte Oper Frankfurt events include a booking fee of € 0.50.
Should an event be cancelled, please return tickets no later than 1 month after the scheduled date of the performance to receive a refund of the purchase price. We accept no liability for changes to the cast and/or programme that are beyond the influence of Alte Oper Frankfurt. In such cases, the ticket price will not be refunded or reduced.
Alte Oper Frankfurt reserves the right to make alterations to seating arrangements as a result of structures modified or erected for the production.
Latecomers will not be admitted until the interval.
Concessions:
For all eligible events that are marked as such, school pupils, students, pensioners*, people doing military/civilian national service,
the unemployed and Frankfurt Pass holders are entitled to purchase remaining tickets - subject to availability - at a price of
Euro 12.00 Euros, for concerts of Hessischer Rundfunk and PRO ARTE Frankfurter Konzertdirektion 15.00 Euros, one hour before the performance begins upon presentation of valid ID.
Severely disabled visitors (80% or more in accordance with the German disability classification system) can purchase standard advance sale
tickets at half price upon presentation of the appropriate ID.
For all Alte Oper Frankfurt events, school pupils, students and trainees
up to the age of 27 are entitled to a 50% discount; only available at the
Alte Oper Frankfurt,
B-Ebene/Hauptwache and Hanau am Markt advance sale ticket outlets.
