Access for all
The Alte Oper Frankfurt aims to ensure that
everyone can attend concerts with as little
difficulty as possible.
And this starts with our website, which has been
designed for optimal user-friendliness to ensure
that even the visually impaired can find and access
all the information they need.
The same applies to the Alte Oper building
itself.
There are two disabled parking spaces located to the
left of the building. A wheelchair ramp leading into
the building is also located on the left-hand side
of the building.
When parking your car in the Alte Oper car park, a
lift takes your straight into the building.
Wheelchair users crossing the Opernplatz can access
the building via a 9.5 m ramp (with an 80 cm height
differential).
Within the building, all rooms can be accessed via generously proportioned lifts. There are dedicated spaces with good views for wheelchair users in both the "Großer Saal" and the "Mozart Saal".
The hard of hearing can make use of an induction loop (infrared technology) in the "Großer Saal".
Finally, a word about ticket prices:Severely disabled visitors (80% or more in accordance with the German disability classification system) can purchase standard advance sale tickets at half price upon presentation of the appropriate ID.
